Spinal MRI scan makes visible the intervertebral discs, tumors, bone marrow, scars after surgeries, and also helps to detect the abnormalities on and around the spinal cord.

Spinal MRI scan may be necessary in the following cases:

  • Hernia
  • Tumor
  • Calcinosis
  • Check spinal alignments
  • Low back pain
  • Pain radiating to lower limbs/numbness
  • Sciatica
  • Lumbago
  • Neck pain
  • Pain radiating to upper limbs
  • Headache, vertigo

In addition to plain (native MRI) examination, the contrast-enhanced examination is also available.
