MRI of hips and sacrum (sacroiliitis MRI) is used mainly to early detect inflammation around the sacroiliac joints.
Sacroiliitis MRI scan may be necessary in the following cases:
- Injuries
- Inflammation of joints
- Pain radiating to foot and feet
In addition to plain (native MRI) examination, the contrast-enhanced examination is also available.
