The soft tissue around the joints and bones in extremities can be perfectly examined by MRI scan. This is possible because during MRI scan of joints and limbs tendons, ligaments, inner membrane of the joint capsule, fluid, cartilage, vertebrae and cartilage sickles can be seen.
The MRI scan can also provide good images of parts where bones do not contain calcium phosphate (parts not containing calcium phosphate: bone marrow, tumors, inflammations).
Extremity MRI scan can be made on the following part of the body:
- Forearm
- Ankle
- Thigh
- Hip
- Wrist
- Upper arm
- Elbow
- Foot
- Leg
- Knee
- Shoulder
In addition to plain (native MRI) examination, the contrast-enhanced examination is also available.
Online appointment booking is currently not available on our website.
