Cerebral MR angiography is performed to assess abnormalities in the cerebral arterial blood flow system.
Cerebral MR angiography or cerebral MRA may be required in the following cases:
- aneurysm, stroke, vasospasm, vasculitis,
- internal carotid artery, cerebral artery, basilar artery occlusion and narrowing,
- arteriovenous malformation (AVM),
- arteriosclerosis.
Cerebral MRA allows the detection of pathological changes in the main vessels of the brain: depletion of the peripheral vascular pattern of the anterior, middle, and posterior cerebral arteries (PMA, SMA, ZMA) on both sides.
In addition to plain (native MRI) examination, the contrast-enhanced examination is also available.
Online appointment booking is currently not available on our website.
