Elbow MRI

An MRI scan of the elbow provides detailed pictures about the condition of the soft tissue in the elbow and helps to detect suspected injuries, inflammations. Makes visible the tendons, cartilages, state of the periosteum, inflammations.

During the MRI of the elbow joint can be detected:

• The condition of joints
• Lesions caused by injuries
• Inflammation and amount of fluids

Elbow MRI scan may be necessary in the following cases:

• Torn ligaments
• Sport injuries
• Arthritis

In addition to plain (native MRI) examination, the contrast-enhanced examination is also available.
