MRI scan of the ankle and leg provides detailed pictures about the condition of the soft tissue in the ankle and helps to detect suspected injuries.

Ankle and leg MRI scan or MRI of ankle and leg joints may be necessary in the following cases:

  • Sport injuries
  • Torn or strained ligaments
  • Sprain
  • Joint pains
  • Muscle overload
  • Chronic pain

In addition to plain (native MRI) examination, the contrast-enhanced examination is also available.
