During the MRI examination of the uterus, malignant changes of the uterus can be examined and the anatomy of the uterus and the changes associated with age can be well examined.
Uterine MRI scan may be needed in the following cases:
- assessment of the extent and operability of cancerous diseases
- in pregnancy, it is also used to determine fetal conditions and pelvic dimensions.
In addition to plain (native MRI) examination, the contrast-enhanced examination is also available.
