An MRI scan of the pancreas examines the lesions of the pancreas.

For example, we can get an idea of the pancreatitis, which is the most common disease of this organ.

Acute pancreatitis, if recognized in time and treated, can be completely cured.

A Pancreatic MRI scan or an MRI scan of the pancreas may be required in the following cases:

  • suspicion of diseases of the pancreas
  • inflammations
  • tumors

In addition to plain (native MRI) examination, the contrast-enhanced examination is also available.
