MR cholangiography (MRCP) is used to examine the pancreas, liver and gallbladder.
This usually does not require the administration of a contrast agent, as MRI can draw a sufficiently detailed picture of the lesion.
Liver and bile ducts MRI scan or MRI of the liver and bile ducts may be required in the following cases:
- differential diagnosis of focal liver lesions,
- bile duct and pancreatic duct assessment with MRCP,
- differential diagnosis of pancreatic processes.
In addition to plain (native MRI) examination, the contrast-enhanced examination is also available.
Online appointment booking is currently not available on our website.
