Abdominal and pelvic MRI includes abdominal and pelvic MRI to examine internal organs (e.g., kidney, liver, spleen, pancreas, abdominal lymph nodes) as well as internal genitals (e.g., ovaries).
Abdominal and pelvic MRI scan may be needed in the following cases:
- monitoring the condition of internal organs (liver and bile, spleen, kidney, pancreas)
- tumor
- examination of the condition and changes of the female / male internal genitalia
- endometriosis
In addition to plain (native MRI) examination, the contrast-enhanced examination is also available.
